CSD to Host First Public Hearing for K-2 School Consolidation and Redistricting Process

​DECATUR, Ga. - City Schools of Decatur has announced that a public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Beacon Hill Middle School, where the community is invited to provide input and offer considerations to Education Planners regarding a potential school consolidation. This hearing will not be counted as one of the two public hearings required by law for a public school closure.
