This plan is submitted each year to the GaDOE for any Georgia school district receiving federal funds.
The CLIP is required under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) as reauthorized under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) for all districts in the state receiving ANY federal funds. This includes: Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) which is connected to Special Education, Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, Title V, and Title IX.
An additional goal of this survey is to assist the district in determining its plan to improve the academic and discipline outcomes for all CSD students with the specific goal of advancing racial equity.
