Flu Vaccine Clinic

FLU season is fast approaching and it is time to get your flu shot! The CDC recommends that people get a flu vaccine by the end of October. The City Schools of Decatur Nurses along with the DeKalb Board of Health have organized outdoor Flu Clinics throughout the district so everyone will have plenty of opportunities to get vaccinated. 

The clinics are open to staff, students (must be accompanied by parent/guardian), and families. They also offer other vaccines covered by insurance (pneumonia, Tdap and Hepatitis A & B), please let your building nurse know, before the scheduled date of the clinic, if you are interested.  

Individuals MUST Bring an ID and Insurance Card.  There is NO charge with accepted Insurance. 

Insurance accepted: BC & BS of GA, Cigna, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicaid, Medicare Part B, PeachCare for Kids, & SHBP (excluding Kaiser)

Cost: Standard flu Vaccine: $40

High-dose flu vaccine for ages 65+: $77
