Student Support Services

The Student Support Services Division ensures that all CSD students are safe, seen, and successful via an array of support programs. Departments within this division include Section 504, School Psychology, Restorative Practices & Behavior Support, School Counseling, Behavior Intervention, The Code of Conduct and Restorative Practices, School Social Work, The Decatur Student Center, Special Education Services, ESOL, and Federal Program Services. Student Support Services supports the district by creating processes and procedures to consistently implement the required state and federal components of various support programs and monitoring the implementation of the programs. The division provides coaching and feedback to teachers and administrators on implementing high-quality support services for all students. Student Support Services also engages parents and staff in developing meaningful partnerships between schools, families, and the community that ultimately lead to significant gains in student achievement and increased family engagement.
