  • CSD was ranked #5 in Georgia by Niche for 2026, consistently ranking among the top 10 statewide
  • CSD ranked first among all districts in the state for 2025 SAT scores, second-highest for ACT scores
  • 2025 four-year graduation rate: 96.4% (#2 in Metro), including 93.52 % Black; 94.44% Hispanic; 97.30% Multiracial; 97.23% White; 89.71% Economically Disadvantaged; 92.16% Students with Disabilities; 82.35% ELL
  • In the 2022-23 school year, 38% of DHS students who were classified as economically disadvantaged under state guidelines were reading at or above grade level. The number has increased to 63% in just two years.
  • 2024-2025 Georgia Milestone results: #1 ranking in metro for 73% of tested areas; Top 3 ranking in the state for 78% of the tested areas; #1 in the state for ELA grades 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8; #1 in the state for High School Biology; and #4 in the State for Math performance
  • CTAE Pathway graduation rate: 98.99%
  • Georgia Department of Education 2025 CCRPI results: Elementary schools earned 98.9, including 100 in Math and 98.42 in ELA; BHMS earned 98.1, with ELA and Math scores above 100 and strong performance in Science and Social Studies; DHS earned 97.1, with Biology and U.S. History above 100, Algebra at 97.49, and American Literature at 90.76
  • Georgia Office of Student Achievement CCRPI accountability score: 94.4. This is the highest state accountability score out of 181 school districts, and the highest for CSD - ever.
  • Georgia Department of Education recognized two schools as State Leader Schools in Literacy (Fifth Avenue Elementary School) and Math (Beacon Hill Middle School)
  • In 2024-25, 16 athletic programs qualified for GHSA State Tournaments: Swimming, Track, and Cross Country teams finished among the top three in the state
  • CSD received the Best Communities for Music Education award for the fourth consecutive year from the National Association of Music Merchants
  • Financially, CSD recently received the highest bond rating possible for a school district of our size and a clean audit report.
