CSD Dismissing All Students Due to Water Main Break
Attn: CSD
CSD has been notified of a 36-inch water main break at 3124 Midway Road, affecting all schools. DeKalb County Watershed Management does not have a confirmed time for restoration. At CSD, your child's health and well-being are our highest priorities. Due to safety and sanitation concerns, we will close all schools, including College Heights and the Frasier Center, as well as offices, for today, December 1. Please arrange for pick-up as soon as possible. CSD will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed.
Buses will depart at the following approximate times:
DHS: 10:00 a.m.
BHMS: 10:00 a.m.
F.Ave and Talley: 10:30 a.m.
Clairemont, Glennwood, Oakhurst, Westchester, Winnona Park: 11:00 a.m.
Chromebooks will be issued to students in grades 3 through 12. Schools will send work home with students in grades K-2. All after-school activities and athletics are canceled.
