This is my 9th year as an Oakhurst Owl! While at Oakhurst I've taught both kindergarten and first grade. Before coming to Oakhurst I spent six years teaching second grade at Bethesda Elementary in Gwinnett County. I attended East Carolina University for my undergraduate degree and Georgia State for my Master’s. I have a Master’s in Reading, Language, and Literacy and love teaching reading and writing. During my free time I love cooking, gardening, and traveling to new places near and far with my husband Addison!  We also love spending time with our two dog children Izzie and PeeDee.
