I happily joined the Oakhurst Crew in 2013. Before becoming a first grade teacher at Oakhurst, I taught second and third grade. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Florida. I am also gifted certified and trained in Orton-Gillingham. I was born and raised in Florida, where I met my wonderful husband, Henry. We have lived in Decatur for ten years, and enjoy traveling, spending time with family/friends, and exploring new restaurants in Atlanta.
