I’m so excited to enter into my 15th year teaching art and my 11th year at Oakhurst. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio but have called Atlanta home for the past 15+ years. I love that the arts provide students with creative self-expression and can be integrated into all subject matter to help with engagement and confidence. My goal is to encourage students to become creative thinkers and problem solvers inside the art room and out.

When I’m not creating art of my own, I like to keep busy by traveling with my husband, gardening, and being outdoors. As a lover of animals, I work with a foster/rescue group and own two pets of my own. My dogs, Benson and Gus, are Australian Cattle Dog mixes that love to go hiking and appear in my art videos.
