Glennwood Elementary

Hello! I am honored and delighted to be the principal of Glennwood Elementary School, home of the Eagles! I am the proud mom of a 6th-grade son and 5th-grade daughter - also 3 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, a cat, a hamster, and a fish! I grew up in Massachusetts and enjoy going home to visit family in New England any chance I get. I graduated from Clemson University, received my Master's degree from Kennesaw State, and attained a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Mercer University. I also hold a certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University and attended their Women in Ed Leadership program. I have been in the field of education since 1999. Before coming to Glennwood in 2020, I taught all grades K-5, served as an MTSS/RTI/SST Specialist, an assistant principal and a program administrator of the Morningside Elementary School Kindergarten Center. I am passionate about the importance of early literacy, teacher education, and meeting the needs of the whole child!
