Hi Wolves! I am excited to join the Westchester Crew this year as a Kindergarten teacher. I have taught preschool, Pre-K, and 1st grade and love working with young learners. I attended Valdosta State University where I received an undergraduate degree in Spanish Education. I later attended Mercer University where I received a Master's degree in Elementary Education. I will be starting an Educational Specialist program at Valdosta State University this fall for Instructional Technology and School Library Media. I also have a Gifted Endorsement. I love to read and learn and hope to pass that excitement on to my students. In my free time, I love to spend time with family, read, ride my bike, and cheer on my son at his baseball games. My husband is a welder and loves to make things. My son is a 4th grader at F.Ave and plays drums and baseball. We also have a dog, Hank (Go Braves!). My goal is to make my classroom a place of joy and acceptance where everyone feels loved and valued. I believe learning should be fun and love creating an environment for students to grow in confidence and curiosity.
