I am excited to join Oakhurst Elementary as the Instructional Coach this year. This is my 11th year in CSD and my 28th year in education. Throughout my career, I have taught all grades K-5th grade except 4th grade. I have also been an EIP teacher and Reading Specialist. I attended Hampton University (B.S), Georgia State University (M.Ed & Ed.S), and Walden University (Ed.D).

I love reading psychological thrillers, watching documentaries, exercising, and spending time with my family in my free time. I have two children who both graduated from Decatur High School and are now in college at Fordham University and Georgia Tech.
