I am honored to be an Oakhurst Owl.  I am serving in my 29th year as an educator in the City Schools of Decatur.  I began my career as a high school science teacher at Decatur High School.  Subsequently, I served in the roles of Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and Principal.  After many rewarding years of developing and learning from young adults, I accepted the opportunity to work with and show love to younger students.  After spending three years at Talley, I have discovered that I love working with students at the  K-2 level.  My greatest love is my 26-year-old daughter.  When I am not spending time with her, I seek out a quiet body of water where I can relax.
