Hooty Hoo Owls!! This is my second year teaching at Oakhurst! I am a product of Decatur, and an Oakhurst alum! My entire family graduated from Decatur High School, and we are extremely involved and invested in our community. I graduated from Reinhardt University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. After college, I spent 2 years teaching preschool at the Frasier Center attached to Decatur High School. I was the head coach of the JV girls lacrosse team for 3 years, and this year am taking over as the head coach of the Varsity program! I love every minute of it! In my free time, I often watch sports, especially football and lacrosse, and catch up on my favorite TV shows. Every kiddo who walks into my classroom always knows two things about me: I LOVE unicorns, and I LOVE to sing along to Frozen!! I’m looking forward to growing as an educator as my students grow into being amazing scholars!!!
