Hey Y’all!

I am so proud to begin my 4th year as an Oakhurst Owl. I was born in Saginaw, Michigan. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Clark Atlanta University and my Master's degree from Central Michigan University and my Specialist degree at Mercer University. I have previously taught kindergarten-third grades with Chicago Public Schools before moving to Atlanta. I am looking forward to an amazing year teaching and learning with the First Grade Crew this fall!  

In my spare time I love to travel, spend time with friends, listening to thriller books on Audible,  and movie nights with my husband and four children (ages 15, 14, 12, 10). I also enjoy cheering my daughter on during her track meets and cheering for my son during his tennis matches.
