This is my 18th year of teaching. I graduated from The University of North Florida where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Upon graduation, I taught 5th-grade band and 1st & 2nd-grade general education. During that time, I worked with the University of Florida Lastinger Center as a Clinical Education Facilitator for new teachers.
Looking for a new adventure, I moved to the Atlanta area. I've worked for City Schools of Decatur as a Google Certified Educator & 2nd-3rd grade teacher. In Decatur, I volunteered as a Girls on the Run Coach, Teacher Advisory Committee Member, and a district digital learning trainer. I continued my education at Piedmont College, where I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.
In my free time, I enjoy sewing, dancing, volunteering, traveling, and stuffing my face with tacos!
