I am currently in my fourth year with City Schools of Decatur and am excited about teaching beginning band back to FAve! 

Originally from Florence, Alabama, I moved to Georgia in 2008 and proudly call Georgia “home.” Since 5th grade, music has been a huge part of my life and has helped shape the person I am today. I began playing the trumpet in 5th grade and participated in both chorus and band through my second year of college. As a sophomore in college, I made instrumental music my primary focus and decided to pursue a teaching career in music. 

In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, cooking/grilling, listening to music, BRAVES baseball, college football (WAR EAGLE!!!), working with the Decatur High School Band, and spending time with my son, Nicholas (11), and my daughter, MaKayla (19).
