Welcome to fourth grade! This is my seventh year here at F.AVE and my twelfth year as a classroom teacher. I have taught second, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade ELA. I earned my BA in Sociology and my Masters in Elementary Education from the University of New Hampshire, my CAS in Literacy from The University of Southern Maine, and my PhD in Curriculum and Instruction at Mercer. 

I grew up near Portalnd, Maine and moved to Georgia eleven years ago. I live in Decatur with my family and we enjoy going to the park, playing outside, reading, doing arts and crafts, and spending quality family time together! In my free time I enjoy reading, and cooking.
