I am very excited to start my 16th year at Oakhurst as the PE teacher and helping teach students the value of physical education in their everyday choices. I taught kindergarten for nine years and special education for four years before transitioning into the role of PE coach. I was born here in Metro-Atlanta where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at Georgia State University and my Master's degree from Piedmont College.

I have the most amazing family which consists of my husband Jason, our son Noah (who is a first grade Oakhurst Owl), and two amazing bonus kids, Collin and Joey, who are in 11th and in the Air Force. In our free time we love hiking and camping, playing anything that is competitive, and traveling to new places. I am looking forward to a new school year!
