Hooty Hoo Oakhurst Owls! I have been a proud educator in the City Schools of Decatur since 2003. During my time in Decatur, I’ve taught preK and kindergarten and currently I am a part of the Early Intervention Team.  As an original "Georgia Peach'," I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Clark Atlanta University and later earned a Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy and an Education Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership. My husband is also an educator. We have two sons that graduated from Decatur High School and graduated from rival colleges, which creates a lot of competition in the house. During my down time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching all types of sports, and catching up on my reading.
