This is my 12th year as an Oakhurst Owl! While at Oakhurst I've taught both kindergarten and first grade. This will be my first year teaching 2nd grade at Oakhurst. Before coming to Oakhurst, I spent six years teaching second grade. I attended East Carolina University for my undergraduate degree and Georgia State for my Master’s. I have a Master’s in Reading, Language, and Literacy, and I love teaching reading and writing.

During my free time I love cooking, gardening, and traveling to new places near and far with my husband Addison!  We also love spending time with our dog child PeeDee.
