Community engagement is essential to the new Early Childhood Learning Center's planning process. CSD has talked with residents at listening sessions, administered surveys in multiple languages with the help of schools and PTOs, and consulted with key community stakeholders, such as the Decatur Housing Authority, local schools, parents, and various community organizations.

Community members are invited to provide feedback about how the center can best serve the community's needs. CSD will share regular updates and solicit feedback about the new ECLC's progress through the webpage, district communications, surveys, and public meetings. CSD’s Board of Education will provide final approval for the project.
