  • Deadlines Deadlines DEADLINES

    FOR THE FALL SEMESTER ONE MONTH PRIOR TO THE POSTSECONDARY INSTITUTION's DEADLINE

    • March 1st for post-secondary institutions with April 1st deadlines
    • April 1st for post-secondary institutions with May 1st deadlines
    • May 1st for post-secondary institutions with June 1st deadlines
    • May 31st for post-secondary institutions with July/August deadlines 

    FOR ALL SPRING SEMESTER DE STUDENTS: Students must submit courses to their high school counselors before they are registered by the college.

  • Admission
    Students must apply for admission to the postsecondary institution of their choice and submit all required documentation by the designated deadline. There is no application fee for students to participate in the Dual Enrollment Program. Each institution has its own entrance requirements that may include;

    • Grade Point Average (GPA)
    • Assessment Scores 
    • On Track to Graduate

    A dual enrollment student must abide by the rules of the Decatur High School and the postsecondary institution the student is attending, and a student can be denied participation at any time in the Dual Enrollment Program for violations of such rules.


  • Application Process

    1. Complete the application to the selected college or university
    2. Submit documents required by the college (see college for deadlines)
    3. Complete the Online Dual Enrollment Funding Application at GA Futures
    4. Access the GA Futures Dual Enrollment Course Directory to select courses 
    5. Submit the Course Request Form
    6. Submit your courses to the college representative
