Ms. Jill Hanson

Ms. Hanson began her career as a library media specialist in 2002. Prior to 2002, she worked as a historian for the National Park Service. She holds a BA in History and Political Science from Mercer University, an MA in Public History from the University of South Carolina, and an MS in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University. She loves history, reading, and dogs.

Ms. Utoia Wooten

When Ms. Wooten’s daughter transitioned from Montessori school to public school, Ms. Wooten transitioned with her and became a media center volunteer at Glennwood Elementary school. Fast forward to present, Ms. Wooten is beyond thrilled to be on board full-time at the Talley Street media center. Prior to working with kids and books, Ms. Wooten worked in the nonprofit sector as a regional community outreach manager, director of communications, and communications consultant. Ms. Wooten holds a BS in public management from Florida A&M University and she loves reading, listening music, and volunteering for her favorite charity, Students Without Mothers, Inc.
