Welcome to F.Ave! I'm excited to continue teaching at Fifth Avenue, after beginning my time in CSD at Oakhurst Elementary. I love being a part of City Schools of Decatur as a teacher and a community member. 

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Georgetown University and stayed in Washington, DC to begin my teaching career in DC Public Schools. I moved back to my hometown to get my master's in reading, language, and literacy from Georgia State University. After teaching middle school at a public charter school in Atlanta, I made my way to Oakhurst. I've taught three-year olds up to 7th graders, and I feel like I've found the perfect age with third graders! 

I live here in Decatur with my husband, Doug, our two-year-old, Peter, and our new baby girl, Molly.
