DHS is excited to announce that the Learning Commons (Library) now has a collection of chromebooks available for students to check out for use at home.
These devices have been provided by the City Schools of Decatur department of Information Services as part of the “Homework Chromebook” pilot program. This program is a first step in our effort to address the homework/ technology access gap faced by some of our students.
This program does NOT require students to provide proof of financial need. The ONLY requirement is a completed "Student Equipment Checkout Form" signed by a parent or guardian.
Data collected from the “Homework Chromebooks” pilot program will be used to inform the programs next steps.
We look forward to continuing to addressing the needs of all #ourkids. :)If you would like to know more about this program please email Ifeude Hill at email@example.com (School Librarian Media Specialist) or come by and visit.
