Last year the School Board voted on implementing monthly early release days for all the Pre-K-12 programs. The early release days are the last Wednesday of every month. You can view the academic calendar here. Our first early release day is August 30th.

Below is the early release schedule:

• Two hour early release. Students eat lunch at school.
• Bus riders will be dismissed at 12:00.
• Walkers/car riders and community after school will be dismissed at 12:15-12:30.
• Families enrolled in community after school programs should contact the program directly on their early release details.
• Students enrolled in the College Heights after care program will remain in their rooms for rest time and will transition to their after care location at 2:30 pm.

College Heights currently has a waiting list for the 0-3 tuition program. To be added to the waiting list, families must complete this waiting list form and submit it to the school with two (2) proofs of current residency in the city of Decatur and a non-refundable fee of $50. Pre-K Registration Process 2023-2024

Registration for “New Families” to College Heights began on February 1, 2023. We have a few Pre-K spots available for the current school year. Families interested in enrolling their child should contact the school directly by calling 404-370-4480. Children must be four (4) years of age on September 1, 2023, to be eligible. Children five years of age prior to September 1 must register for Kindergarten. Families will need to provide the following documents during the registration process:

• Proof of Residency (lease, deed, payment/coupon book, property tax or settlement statement and a current utility bill). If providing a lease the student’s name must be listed as an occupant.

• Birth Certificate (certified original)

• Immunization (Form 3231)

• Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition (Form 3300)

• Student’s Social Security Card

• Picture ID of guardian
