Mr. Derrick Robillard
Greetings!
My name is Derrick Robillard and I serve as the ESS Teacher in 5th grade. This is my 19th year in education and each year my passion to teach has grown stronger.
I am originally from Peekskill, New York – A small town 30 miles north of New York City. I earned a full athletic basketball scholarship from Long Island University where I received a BS in Education. After several years of teaching in New York City, I moved to Georgia and began teaching in the Cobb County School District. This is my 3rd year in CIty of Decatur School District. Being a life long learner, I obtained a MS from the University of West GA and I am also ESOL endorsed.
I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter (6 yr) and son (2 yr). I am an advocate of all students and I look forward to a productive and fun school year!
